With the support of the Publishing Office of the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Publishing Association and the Municipal Editorial Society have held the Shanghai Publishing Young Editors’ Paper Collection for three consecutive years, which has aroused positive responses. Nearly 170 papers selected by experts have been published in three series. In 2023, the Municipal Publishing Association and the Municipal Editorial Society will continue to hold the collection of papers published in Shanghai. There is no age limit for the authors of the papers, and teachers and students majoring in publishing in relevant universities are welcome to participate. The relevant issues are hereby notified as follows:
1. General requirements of the thesis
Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, theoretical thinking is carried out in connection with reality. published in public publications. Due to the needs of the review, the author is requested to fill in the "Shanghai Publication Paper Review Application Form" (see Appendix 1), and write out the keywords and abstract of the paper.
The papers published by the teachers and students of the colleges and universities shall be recommended by the departments of the colleges and universities, and generally no more than three papers.
The theme of the thesis should focus on the publishing work on the new journey of Chinese-style modernization, which can be discussed theoretically, including but not limited to: thinking about the high-quality development of publishing, integrated development of publishing, and going global of publishing, as well as the construction and development of publishing disciplines, The construction of journal clusters, the impact of artificial intelligence on editorial work, the construction of publishing talent teams, editorial professionalism and professional ethics, and the inheritance of the spirit of deceased famous publishers; Practice, including but not limited to: theme publishing, academic publishing, topic selection and planning, quality of editing and proofreading, book design, copyright management, printing and distribution, etc. Regardless of theoretical discussion or practical research, we must strive for new ideas and avoid generalizations.
2. Thesis Submission Requirements
Due to the limited manpower of the organizer, the papers are collected by each publishing unit and submitted in a unified manner by filling out the "Summary Form for Collection of Papers" (see Appendix 2). The editor-in-chief's office of each publishing unit is requested to send the electronic version of the paper to the mailbox of the Municipal Publishing Association, print 4 copies of the declared paper and the application form, and send it to the Municipal Publishing Association together with a summary form. For the papers submitted by editors of periodical publishing units, the City Periodicals Association shall summarize and send the electronic version of the papers to the mailbox of the City Publishing Association, print 4 copies of the declared papers and declaration forms, and send them to the City Publishing Association together with a summary form. The papers submitted by teachers and students majoring in publishing in colleges and universities shall be recommended and summarized by their schools, and 4 copies of the declared papers and declaration forms shall be printed and sent to the Municipal Publishing Association together with 1 summary form. New media editors participate in the call for papers, and the electronic version will be sent directly to the city
Publishing Association mailbox, and send 4 hard copies of papers and 4 declaration forms to the Municipal Publishing Association.
The deadline for the call for papers is the end of October 2023.
3. Thesis Writing Requirements
1. Title. The title is the first important information about the research scope, argument and level of an academic paper, and should be reflected in the most appropriate and concise words.
2. Summary. Highly condense the main points of the thesis in 300 words, generally in the third person, explain the purpose, methods, results and conclusions of the research work.
3. Keywords. Choose words or phrases that reflect the main body of the paper from the title of the paper, paragraph titles, and the text, usually 3 to 5 words, and spaces should be left between each word to show the difference.
4. Text. The text is the main part of the thesis, including arguments, evidence and demonstration process, etc. The requirements are clear in hierarchy, clear in context, and prominent in theme. The labeling of subtitles should be eye-catching, novel and accurate, and the serial numbers should be in the order of "one", "⑴", "1.", "⑴". Reference numbers are marked in the text, and generally only the most necessary and up-to-date documents and published documents are listed.
5 Conclusion. Reflect the value of the research results, including refining the core ideas of the paper, explaining the limitations of the research work, and putting forward opinions or suggestions for future work, etc.
6. Paper format:

Abstract (within 300 words), keywords (3 to 5);
Main text: first-level title, second-level title, third-level title; the font is Song typeface, small four, one and a half line spacing;
Charts: put in the text, unify the font and font size of the legend;
References: placed at the end of the article, unified with [1][2][3]... mark;
A brief introduction of the author is attached at the end of the article: including name, work unit, degree, professional title and contact information, etc.
