The holding of this competition has built a high-level competition and exchange platform for the industry's skilled talents, and has helped the transformation of Henan's printing industry towards high-end, intelligent, and green. The competition focuses on the core job demands of the industry, and a total of three major ( occupations) competition items are set up, namely, prepress and production operators (flatbed plate makers), printing operators (digital printers), and post-press production operators (book finishing workers). The competition is divided into two groups: the staff group and the student group. Both groups adopt a single-person competition format, fully covering the practitioners on the front line of the industry and the reserve talents of the colleges and universities.
This competition focuses on examining the contestants' theoretical knowledge reserve, practical operation skills, and the ability to solve practical problems. The results are a combination of theoretical knowledge competition and practical operation competition, where the practical operation part emphasizes the assessment of the contestants' combat level in production process optimization, technology innovation application, and other aspects, fully demonstrating the purpose of "promoting learning, practice, and action through the competition".
