During the special treatment period, the city will carry out supervision and guidance around the five major tasks of promoting the publicity and implementation of national mandatory standards, preventing excessive packaging in various links, standardizing and improving tea packaging design, strengthening industry management and supervision and law enforcement, and promoting multi-dimensional co-governance. It is reported that the action will focus on key tea varieties and main production and sales areas, from the production, sales, design and packaging links to carry out centralized rectification. In the production link, publicize and popularize the relevant requirements of mandatory standards for restricting excessive packaging, and guide enterprises to strictly implement mandatory standards; in the sales link, urge operators not to purchase or sell excessively packaged tea, and conscientiously implement mandatory national standards.
