Finlandia Carton helps British brand SALT! Supplements create a win-win for sustainability and exper

 SALT! Supplements, a UK-based sports nutrition brand (the name means Salt! Supplements) founded by two athletes, Alfonso Iovine and Kim Connor Streich, is dedicated to creating hydration products that meet the needs of athletes and are both functional and attractive. The brand hopes that the packaging of its latest launched electrolyte pouch, a small bag, can convey a high-end experience to consumers the moment it is opened.

　　To achieve this goal, printing and production house Cousin commissioned packaging design company Burgopak to create a solution that balanced visual impact, practicality and transportation efficiency. The Burgopak team utilized its proprietary Coupe packaging structure to minimize air space and presented the 15 supplement bars in an inclined format, creating a more visually appealing display. The material and structure were optimized for efficient use and durability. The packaging size met Royal Mail’s “Large Envelope” standard, which helps to reduce transportation costs and environmental impact.

　　The core material of the packaging is MetsäBoard Pro FBB Bright paperboard product, a high-quality material produced by Metso Paperboard, which has been selected for its outstanding performance and sustainable value, meeting the dual important requirements for product protection and responsible procurement.
