Chinese companies contribute more digital solutions to the global printing industry

The 2024 drupa printing exhibition is being held in Dusseldorf, a city in western Germany. At this world's leading printing technology event, Chinese companies have become the focus of attention with their excellent digital solutions.

  At the "Bisheng Printing Cooperation Forum Drupa Dialogue" held during the exhibition, Marius Bellemann (Chinese name Ma Ruibo), head of the Asia Center of Messe Dusseldorf, told Xinhua News Agency reporters that as early as the 11th century , Chinese inventor Bi Sheng created movable type printing, leading a great technological revolution in the history of world printing. “That spirit of innovation continues to this day.”

Ma Ruibo said that digital transformation and green and sustainable development have become the core themes of today's global printing industry and are also key areas for Chinese enterprises to thrive. “China has transcended its traditional role as a major printing producer and has become an innovation leader in the global printing industry... To me, efficiency, innovation and value are the three aspects that define China’s contribution. Chinese companies have skillfully integrated these elements together."

 

  David Schmeiding, member of the board of directors of Heidelberg Druckmaschinen AG and president of global sales and services, said: "China is the most dynamic market in the global printing industry and the largest market with the highest growth rate in the world. At the same time, China's focus on digitalization Demand is also growing rapidly. Heidelberg Printing Machinery Co., Ltd. has formulated a series of implementation strategies in China and established a localized organizational structure to enable products to adapt to various needs of customers and services to be fast and flexible. It hopes to work with Chinese customers to accelerate digitalization. Transformation.”

 

  Li Ang, general manager of China Pinghu Yinghou Machinery Co., Ltd., said in an interview with Xinhua News Agency reporters that nowadays, "going global" has become more and more important. "Our hardware products have been sold to many countries and regions such as Italy, the United States, the Middle East and South America. These hardware devices are not only our entry point into the local market, but also many customers have begun to try the digital software functions that come with these devices. It will be conducive to the next step of taking our digital solutions overseas.”

 

  Li Ang introduced that the company has established digital smart factory prototypes in many cities in China. “With this exhibition, we plan to promote these digital factory solutions in more countries.”

Li Ang said: “Under the current background of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, exploring the digital intelligent development path of the printing industry in the new era will not only contribute to the sustainable development of the industry, but also inject new vitality into cultural inheritance and development. ”
