  editor's note

From the initial "small sampan" to the development of "China's top 50 brand influence in the label printing industry" enterprise, Chengdu Huicai has continued to grow in the process of "dancing with wolves". Today, as the "head" enterprise in the field of label printing in Southwest China, Chengdu Huicai has conquered every customer with creative design and quality service, and has achieved considerable development. Chengdu, Sichuan, as the birthplace of the ancient Shu civilization, is known as the "Land of Abundance". It is a veritable food consumption and output city, and enjoys a national reputation in the four major fields of condiments, wine, food, and beverages. It is precisely by virtue of its unique historical heritage and profound industrial foundation that it has bred a number of excellent label printing enterprises. Among them, there is such a label printing company that is particularly dazzling. He is not limited to label printing, but has opened up the entire industry chain from creative design to label printing, making design and printing collide with a different kind of spark. He is——Chengdu Huicai Design Printing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chengdu Huicai"). Recently, Liu Jincheng, general manager of Chengdu Huicai, accepted an exclusive interview with "Label Technology" magazine, sharing his entrepreneurial story of "gathering" and "color" to lighten the beauty of label creativity.

Build the foundation of label printing with design

Liu Jincheng, the founder of Chengdu Huicai, graduated in 1996 with a major in mechanical and electrical engineering. However, Mr. Liu has been fond of drawing since he was a child and has a sincere love for design. Therefore, he chose a design-related job as his first job after graduating from university. . "Before entering the label industry, I have been engaged in design work, mainly in the design of packaging and albums. During this period, I met many like-minded friends and accumulated a lot of experience and contacts." Mr. Liu recalled. Label printing is inseparable from design, which also planted the seeds for later engaging in the label printing industry.

Since 2000, China's economy has started to take off at a high speed. With the further maturity of the market economic system, all walks of life have begun to enter the fast lane of development. "At that time, the label printing industry was in a period of dividends. Customers' demand for design was not as high as it is now. It was easier to do printing than design. This also prompted me to change careers decisively in 2003 and bought a partnership with three friends. The first inclined-back label printing machine started the label printing journey, and Chengdu Huicai was officially established in 2005, stepping into the big world of small labels.”
