Since the early 1940s, BOBST has been leading innovation and setting the benchmark for folding and folder-gluing technology. With its technical experience and professional knowledge accumulated over the years, BOBST already has a very comprehensivefolder-gluerproduct line, and has deployed technical support and service facilities around the world.

Over the years, BOBST has been continuously responding to and predicting the development trend of the packaging industry, through extensive research and technology development, to ensure the continuous development of modular folder-gluer products and related peripheral equipment. Each version of the BOBST folder-gluer has been designed with converters' complex needs in mind, drawing on the expertise of BOBST experts and incorporating feedback from customers in their daily production.

The main strength of BOBST folder-gluers is their modularity and adaptable level of automation, which can meet a very wide variety of needs. From very simple to highly complex cartons, regardless of size and order length, BOBST can provide customers with matching folder-gluer configurations to help them produce high-quality zero-defect packaging. In addition, BOBST has a full range of peripheral equipment, etc., which can be used to further improve the performance and efficiency of the folder gluer.

To remain successful in this highly competitive field, it is indeed crucial to carefully observe the market trends that drive changes in demand, and to listen closely to customers. The processing of color boxes is not only about speed and efficiency, but also about the flexibility to deliver what customers want. The high-quality products needed, and the ability to optimize the production of each order to help customers achieve a better return on investment.

  Meet various needs

Every folder-gluer in the BOBST portfolio offers higher manufacturing standards and longer-lasting value.

For high-volume product production, BOBST MASTERFOLD series of folder-gluers not only stand out for their 700m/min speed and excellent quality, but also have an excellent level of automation. The MASTERFOLD range of folder-gluers is equipped with a range of automatic setup features that reduce makeready time while ensuring non-stop production. In addition to higher yields, automation brings sustainability to product production, optimizing human and machine performance without compromising quality and accuracy, and reducing effort and product waste. With the highly automated machines of the MASTERFOLD series, packaging manufacturers can quickly adapt to market changes, as well as peak periods of demand and pressure, while maintaining a high degree of efficiency.

MASTERFOLD series folder gluer

BOBST's MEILONG series folder-gluer can not only process boxes made of various materials, but also run at a maximum speed of 450m/min. The set-up and changeover times of the machines in this series are very short, thus ensuring top-notch productivity. The machines in this range can also be complemented with several innovative equipment that BOBST has introduced over the years. These devices can integrate multiple functions into the folder-gluer line, such as the ACCUCHECK quality control system that supports zero-defect packaging manufacturing, or BOBST equipment such as ACCUBRAILLE that can emboss Braille on the packaging. In the past, these processes required separate equipment or processes to complete. With the addition of inline processes such as Braille embossing and inline quality inspection, the folder-gluers of the MEILONG series are especially suited to the stringent requirements of the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sector.
