Among the new unicorn companies last year, more than half came from hard technology tracks such as new energy, artificial intelligence, and semiconductors. .
As representative enterprises of the new economy, new business formats and new models, unicorn companies have the characteristics of rapid development and high growth potential, and have become a new force in promoting new quality productivity. Wang Jiangping said that the growth of unicorn companies requires the company's own technological strength on the one hand, and a good development environment on the other. In the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will take five measures to promote and support the development of my country's unicorn companies.
The first is to establish a unicorn enterprise cultivation system that is unified across the country and coordinated by ministries and provinces.
The second is to support the technological innovation of unicorn companies, encourage and guide unicorn companies to carry out technological research based on national strategic needs, and master more "unique skills".
The third is to increase financial support for unicorn companies, give full play to the role of industry-finance cooperation platform, and support the listing, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, etc. of unicorn companies.
The fourth is to proactively lay out future industries, focusing on new fields and new tracks such as atomic-level manufacturing, brain-computer interfaces, and 6G, to develop and expand unicorn companies.
Fifth, support unicorn companies to integrate into global innovation networks and carry out innovation cooperation.
