The Chinese Book Center of the National Library of Belarus was inaugurated in Minsk on the 28th.
Gromada, First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture of Belarus, delivered a speech at the ceremony, saying that Belarus-China cooperation has a solid foundation and cooperation in various fields such as humanities is developing actively. The establishment of the center is a major event for cultural cooperation between the two countries. It is believed that the center will attract reading enthusiasts and Chinese cultural researchers and further strengthen ties between the two countries.
Xie Xiaoyong, Chinese Ambassador to Belarus, expressed his belief that the establishment of the China Book Center will further enhance Belarusian readers’ understanding of China, help them better perceive Chinese culture, pay attention to China’s development, and understand a true, three-dimensional and comprehensive China.
The Chinese Book Center of the National Library of Belarus is jointly established by China International Publishing Group and the National Library of Belarus. It is the 16th Chinese Book Center established by China International Publishing Group in the world.
