Through visits and discussions, the research service team introduced the background and significance of carrying out special treatment actions for excessive tea packaging to the Gaochun Tea Association and 9 tea companies, and made mandatory national standards from the three aspects of packaging void ratio, packaging layers and packaging costs. The content of "Restricting Excessive Packaging Requirements for Commodities and Cosmetics" (GB23350-2021) and its No. 1 Amendment has been publicized and communicated, reminding tea companies to strictly implement national standards, avoid excessive packaging, reduce resource waste and environmental pollution, and promote Green and high-quality development of the tea industry. The research service group also presented relevant national standards and publicity materials on food labels, product barcodes, and excessive packaging to enterprises to help them further understand and master relevant knowledge.
